This is another important date to keep in mind in Los Angeles. Screamfest is one of the coolest horror film festivals in town. It is often attended by important filmmakers in the horror and fantasy genre such as Don Coscarelli, Jeffrey Combs, and even Sam Raimi himself, whom I met in 2007, during the premiere of the vampire movie he produced ’30 Days of Night’. Don’t miss this festival while you can.
