One of the biggest film festivals in the world is Cannes, which is also held at the same time that the Marché du Film. I was there in 2008 during the world premiere of ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the cristal skull’. At that time I missed Steven Spielberg, but I was lucky enough to meet him three years later in Los Angeles.
However, I did meet the great and big filmmaker Michael Moore, and reencountered with my multifaceted friend Enrique del Pozo, among other interesting people.
Cannes is a very expensive place, indeed, so if you’re planning on visiting, plan ahead in advance, nevertheless, La Croissette is a place to enjoy, and totally worth it.
