Not only there are movie premieres in Los Angeles. It is also very frequent to see how the TV networks premiere the first episode of every new season as if it was a movie premiere, and with exquisite After-Parties nonetheless.
During the past years I was attending the premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘True Blood’ for a few years in a row… I could meet several actors and producers of those TV series, including their respective showrunners, Frank Darabont and Alan Ball. That was also a great time to make contacts and, of course, to have some fun.
