MÁLAGA SPANISH FILM FESTIVAL THAT WAS HELD SOME WEEKS AGO
De nuevo me hallaba en el Festival de Málaga y como era de
esperar nos encontramos con muchas caras conocidas, a algunos los
conocimos allí, como a Paco León, y otros eran ya colegas como Mario
Vaquerizo y su mujer, Alaska.
Aparte de habernos tomado unos Jack&Coke en el Liceo y en la fiesta que se
celebró en el barco... he de reconocer que fue muy gratificante conocer a
Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, pero sobre todo que le gustara mi libro "Directed
by", y por supuesto tengo que agradecerle a mi colega Jaume Balagueró que
me lo presentara y que le hablara tan bien de mí.
Here I was again with Lisa Rod in Málaga because of the the Spanish Film
Festival. As we expected, we saw a lot of known faces, some of them we met
there and some others were already our pals.
Besides having had some Jack&Cokes at the Liceo disco and the boat party,
at the dock... it was so great for me to meet Juan Carlos Fresnadillo
(director of "28 weeks later")... and it was so delightful that he enjoyed
the reading of my book "Directed by", but above all, I'm very grateful to
my friend Jaume Balagueró (director of "REC" and "Darkness") for
introducing me to Juan Carlos, and speaking him so well about me.
