Admired but Missing Filmmakers

Life is not easy, and unfortunately it comes to an end. And the worst thing is when some of the people you admire pass away.

It is hard to get it, but that’s life. Over the years, I had been lucky enough to meet some great icons and highly regarded professionals of the movie industry that sadly have already died.

Among those people, there was my admired composer Basil Poledouris, whom I met the day he performed live the soundtrack of ‘Conan the Barbarian’ at a music film festival in Jaén, Spain, or the famous “Drácula” Christopher Lee, whom I met at the Sevilla Film Festival, in my home town.

And I can not forget about cult Spanish filmmakers such as Jess Franco, Bigas Luna, or Paul Naschy.
